PRIVATE REIKI SESSIONS

 

Private Reiki sessions are great for stress reduction, relaxation and healing. Sessions can be scheduled anytime and can be at my location or at your home or office. (distance and travel permitting) Each session lasts approximately 1+ hours at a fee of $60.00.

WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR PRIVATE REIKI SESSION



THE SPACE



Reiki sessions are done in the privacy of your home or office or at my location. A warm, quiet space that is free from harsh lighting, distracting noise and interruptions is required.

THE EQUIPMENT



If the session is at your location, I will bring a massage table with me and will need to set it up where there is enough space for me to walk around it comfortably. I will bring my ipod with carefully selected music for the session. If you prefer your session without music, just let me know. Have a light blanket or sheet and a pillow available for your comfort. If the session is at my location there is no need for you to bring anything except a positive state of mind.



WHAT TO WEAR



You should wear loose, comfortable clothes (shorts, yoga pants or sweats, t-shirt or light top...what you would wear for a yoga class or lounging around the house) Layers are recommended so you can adjust your comfort level as needed.

THE TECHNIQUE



Reiki work is done with very little contact with the body. Unlike massage therapy, there is no manipulation of

the muscles, stretching, or pressure points. The Reiki practitioner may touch your head and feet lightly to help direct the energy.

WHAT IT WILL FEEL LIKE



You may experience a slight warming sensation or a buzzing feeling or you may feel nothing at all. You

also may experience a response the day after or several days after. 



​Feel free to ask questions before, during and after

your session. Drinking lots of water following the session is advised to help your body flush toxins

from your system.



HOW TO BOOK A PRIVATE REIKI SESSION



Contact me directly to make an appointment. Reiki Sessions are $60.00. The session is approximately 1 hour (or a little more)

Reiki is not meant to replace medical health care of a physician or health care provider. It can be used as a supplement to your regular medical care or as a stand alone practice. Always consult your physician before starting Reiki or any alternative therapy.
